The Fat Duck and proprietor Heston Blumenthal are world-renowned for their inventiveness. As a Director, Nigel worked closely with Heston, developing one of the world’s truly elite restaurants.

The Project Solution

Alongside delivering one of his trademark outstanding wine lists, Nigel was central to the smooth running of The Fat Duck’s back office. This ranged from designing order pads which allowed staff to handle the complexity of Heston’s dining experiences, to physically building a PoS system. He was responsible for crafting and communicating key elements of The Fat Duck’s acclaimed customer experience.

The Fat Duck takes its place at the top of the pile alongside Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay – both in London – and Michel Roux’s , also in Bray, Berkshire.
