The Oarsman was our first wholly-owned venture, brought to us by the brewery that own the freehold at the beginning of 2021 and was awarded ‘Newcomer of The Year 2023’ by Top 50 Gastropubs. 

The Project Solution

At The Oarsman, Head Chef Scott Smith serves bistro style, seasonal dishes from the open kitchen and small plates from the charcuterie and larder counter.

We have created an extensive list of fine & rare wines, as well as a wide range of wines by the glass. The slightly bonkers list features 300 wines from 200 varietals from over 40 countries.

We have a strong environmental ethos & support local suppliers where possible to serve the finest, seasonal produce
