Nigel has unrivalled experience in the hospitality industry, having achieved success in many sectors. He has implemented award-winning wine lists, food concepts and design in countless successful ground-breaking restaurants.
Nigel has shared great success with acclaimed Chef Heston Blumenthal and works hand-in-hand to continue to develop the The Fat Duck Group.
He was Managing Director of the prestigious Crazy Bear Group of hotels, restaurants, bars, farm shops and events and more recently, has contributed to the success of The Gentleman Baristas as they developed and grew the brand nationally.
His knowledge, creativity and manner are applauded by clients and colleagues alike, earning him a place at the very top of the industry.
James kick started his career winning Young Chef of the Year at the Michelin Stared Reads in Kent before moving on to Interlude and Greenhouse in London, accomplishing stars as part of the senior team at both restaurants.
He was Head Chef of The Stonor Arms and Chef Manager of The Goose, then two of Oxfordshire’s highest accolade winning remote venues. James has a great understanding of pub culture culminating in some of London’ best with Princess Victoria and Newman Street Tavern as owner director.
One of James’ proudest roles was as founding chef at BAFTA for the renown Capital Group which catered for the great and the good through the daily necessities to the annual celebrations and everything in-between.
James has a finite understanding of guest expectations that can only be delivered by focus and attention to detail.
